Steinbrenner came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Alonso Ravens. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Lilly Patton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Hanna Goggan, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February of 2025. Another player making a difference was Sophie Luaces, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Steinbrenner was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Alonso only posted a batting average of .208.

Steinbrenner's record now sits at 14-7. As for Alonso, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Coming up, Steinbrenner will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Steinbrenner 3.2, Calvary Christian 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Alonso, they will be playing at home against Sickles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Ravens' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gryphons have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season.
