Williamsburg is 6-1 against Middlesboro since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets will jump right back in to play the Middlesboro Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. Williamsburg will be strutting in after a win while Middlesboro will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Williamsburg had just enough and edged Model out 53-51.

Meanwhile, Middlesboro lost a heartbreaker to Bell County when they met back in February, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. Middlesboro had to suffer through a 89-38 loss at the hands of Bell County. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Middlesboro now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Williamsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Williamsburg lost to Middlesboro on the road by a decisive 55-38 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Williamsburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
