Softball Recap: Bristol Warriors vs. MAST Community Charter Panthers
Bristol proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the MAST Community Charter Panthers 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 on Wednesday.
Brianna Slack spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
