Basketball Recap: Lodestar Takes a Loss

Lodestar played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Golden State Prep, falling 72-52. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Biren Lowe had an outrageously good game for Golden State Prep as he dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten assists. Those ten assists gave Lowe a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Lowe, who posted 11 points.

Lodestar now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Golden State Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Lodestar will take on Madison Park Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Golden State Prep, they will square off against Lighthouse Community at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Golden State Prep is facing Lighthouse Community at the right time seeing as Lighthouse Community is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
