Millington Central gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Ripley Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

While Millington Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-16, 25-23.

Looking ahead, Millington Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Douglass at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ripley, they will venture away from home to challenge Fayette Ware at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
