Basketball Game Preview: All Saints Central Cougars vs. Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the All Saints Central Cougars take on the Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday... All Saints Central is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

All Saints Central lost 75-52 to Garber on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 614th, while the Dukes are ranked 246th).

Meanwhile, Michigan Lutheran Seminary lost to Nouvel Catholic Central on the road by a 54-39 margin on Friday.

All Saints Central will have to contain William Salgat as he made an impact in Michigan Lutheran Seminary's last game. He went 6 of 9 en route to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Miller, who posted three points.

All Saints Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

All Saints Central was dealt a bruising 64-29 defeat at the hands of Michigan Lutheran Seminary in their previous meeting back in March of 2020. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point All Saints Central was down 36-10.
