Baseball Recap: Summit Christian Academy Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Summit Christian Academy faced off against Mounds on Tuesday. The Eagles took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Eagles earlier this season, when they won 16-5.

Caden Antle was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Nathan Antle, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-5.

This is the second loss in a row for Summit Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 11-8. As for Mounds, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit Christian Academy will host Claremore Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mounds, they will square off against Porter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
