Briarcrest Christian was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Sheffield on Saturday. The Briarcrest Christian Saints took their game with ease, bagging a 60-15 victory over the Sheffield Knights. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Briarcrest Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kendall Jones led the charge by putting up four points in addition to six assists and four steals. Ellen Adair was another key player, posting six points.

Jones wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Briarcrest Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sheffield only posted three assists.

Despite the defeat, Sheffield saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Deonna Allen posted eight points.

Briarcrest Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Sheffield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Briarcrest Christian has already played their next contest, a 71-22 victory against Freedom Prep Academy on the 20th. As for Sheffield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 60-15 loss against Lakeland Preparatory on the 20th.
