Basketball Recap: Deuel Triumphs

The Deuel Cardinals were able to grind out a solid victory over the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies on Saturday, taking the game 58-48.

Deuel's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Deuel is taking a road trip to face off against Tiospa Zina at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, they will be playing at home against Lennox at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Orioles have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
