Football Game Preview: West Warriors vs. Centennial Apaches + Official Tickets

West is a perfect 4-0 against Centennial since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Apaches at 7:00 p.m. West will be strutting in after a victory while Centennial will be coming in after a defeat.

West is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Beverly Hills to the tune of 50-0 on Friday. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 434th, while the Normans are ranked 1013th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

A big part of West's win came down to the chemistry between Dominic Golia and his top target Dylan Gobee. Golia threw for 188 yards and five TDs while completing 73.7% of his passes while Gobee gained 147 total yards and three touchdowns. Golia's passing game has become a key predictor of West's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-4 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Centennial fell victim to El Segundo and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Eagles 35-0. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for West, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Everything came up roses for West against Centennial in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 41-0 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Apaches have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
