Baseball Recap: North Iberville Comes Up Short

North Iberville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-3 to the Northeast Vikings.

Zion Pryer was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He also put up a hit, which was his first of the season.

North Iberville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Northeast, their victory ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Iberville will head out to square off against Plaquemine at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northeast, they are taking a road trip to challenge East Iberville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
