Basketball Recap: Cabrini Takes a Loss

After flying high against Greenhills on Friday, Cabrini came back down to earth. The Cabrini Monarchs lost 67-41 to the St. Catherine of Siena Academy Athletes on Saturday. The Monarchs haven't had much luck with the Athletes recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Cabrini's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for St. Catherine of Siena Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.

Cabrini and St. Catherine of Siena Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Cabrini (ranked 201st) will meet Grosse Ile (ranked 429th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, St. Catherine of Siena Academy will square off against Crestwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday up 132 places (75 vs. 207).
