Washington came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 64-53 win over the Iowa City Little Hawks. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Warriors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Little Hawks are ranked 14th).

Washington's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Iowa City, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-9.

Looking ahead, Washington will head out to square off against Bettendorf on February 22nd. One thing working in Washington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
