Soccer Recap: Lewis Falls Short of Robinson in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lewis can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Robinson Rams on Tuesday. One thing that didn't help Lewis' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Jeremy Orellana.

Lewis' goal came courtesy of Orellana, who's now up to 12 this season.

Lewis' defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5-2. As for Robinson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-2 record this season.

Lewis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Robinson, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against West Potomac on the 5th.
