Softball Recap: St. James Takes a Loss

St. James fell victim to Summerville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Summerville Green Wave, falling 7-0. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Green Wave recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

St. James' defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Summerville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Coming up, St. James will look to defend their home field on Monday against Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. St. James' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Myrtle Beach's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Summerville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
