Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Austin Waltemath was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-3. Brighton is undefeated when Waltemath posts three or more RBI, but 7-8 otherwise. Blake George was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Brighton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .522. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
