Soccer Game Preview: Gilbert vs. Lexington

The Gilbert Indians will square off against the Lexington Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Gilbert is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Gilbert fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Brookland-Cayce on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Lexington kept a clean sheet against Swansea on Monday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 4-0 victory. Lexington might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by four goals or more this season.

Gilbert's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.
