Basketball Recap: White County Central Takes a Loss

White County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 49-23 to the St. Joseph Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-17 back in November of 2024.

White County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for St. Joseph, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White County Central will venture away from home to square off against Quitman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Quitman will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something White County Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Joseph, they and Jacksonville Lighthouse will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
