Soccer Game Preview: Triway vs. Tuslaw

The Triway Titans will square off against the Tuslaw Mustangs at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Triway will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Northwest on Saturday. The Titans blew past the Indians 4-1. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Triway's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Northwest with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gianna Rowe, Kylee Strong, Kailynn Nommay, and Elise Wigal.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tuslaw). They put the hurt on Manchester with a sharp 7-1 victory on Monday. Tuslaw might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

The win (which was Tuslaw's third in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matchups. As for Triway, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.
