Canyon waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-6 W against the Crean Lutheran Saints. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Comanches' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Saints are ranked 137th).
Canyon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Caroline Hicks.
