Imagine Prep put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Empower College Prep Wolf a 21-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Imagine Prep.
Nobody will forget Zachary Romero's heroic performance anytime soon (especially Empower College Prep's batters): he turned in a perfect game. Romero has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
At the plate, Bryce Pollay was incredible, firing off two home runs, two stolen bases, and three runs while going 3-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as he's now brought in four or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Hunter Price, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
The win got Imagine Prep back to even at 5-5.
