Saratoga Springs extended their winning streak to six on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 12-6 in the process. They blew past the Bethlehem Central Eagles 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Blue Streaks, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Thomas Mcnamara tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Brady Mills and Jack Covell did most of the damage at the plate: Mills went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Covell went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Covell also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Cooper Villiere was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Saratoga Springs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive games.

As for Bethlehem Central, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with Saratoga Springs: they've now lost five in a row.

On Bethlehem Central's side, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan O'Connell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saratoga Springs will take on Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Bethlehem Central, they will challenge Guilderland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Flying Dutchmen at the right time seeing as the Flying Dutchmen are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
