Volleyball Game Preview: Strathmore Spartans vs. Corcoran Panthers

The Strathmore Spartans will challenge the Corcoran Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Strathmore is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

Strathmore barely beat Woodlake the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday.

While Strathmore won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-17.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Corcoran, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Lindsay on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 15-25, 25-13, 25-14.

Strathmore's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Corcoran, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13-3.

Strathmore took their win against Corcoran in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
