Baseball Recap: Weymouth Find Success

Weymouth hadn't done well against Walpole recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Wildcats' pitcher stepped up to hand the Timberwolves a 1-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since May 24, 2024.

The result came thanks to Jack Reyes's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up 14 Ks.

On the hitting side, Weymouth saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johnny Pires, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
