Roosevelt had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came out on top against the South East Jaguars by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.
Roosevelt had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-15, 25-16, 25-10.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Roosevelt to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaley Munoz, who had six digs and five aces. Munoz has been hot, having posted three or more aces the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Clarissa Caldera, who had 25 digs and three aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Roosevelt was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August.
Roosevelt's record now sits at 20-8. As for South East, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
