If Walton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Marietta, they should've done a better job of containing Leah DeWitt. The Marietta Blue Devils snuck past the Walton Raiders with a 51-46 win on Thursday thanks in part to DeWitt, who went 8 for 20 on her way to 30 points and five rebounds. The match was her 25th in a row with at least 15 points.

Kyann Senior was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 18 boards. She is becoming a predictor of Marietta's success: when she posts at least ten rebounds the team is 10-5 (and 4-6 when she doesn't).

Marietta has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Walton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Marietta nor Walton have any future games scheduled.
