Cesar Chavez found a leader in Andrew Garcia as the squad took down Thunderbird on Wednesday. Garcia did his part (and then some), striking out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk) for the 'W'.

Cesar Chavez's road trip will continue as they head out to face Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Cesar Chavez hasn't beaten Highland recently, having gone 0-3 since March of 2021.
