Volleyball Recap: Bryant Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Bryant was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Baker last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hurricanes came up short against the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Hurricanes were not able to make up for their loss to the Saints from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-9, 25-20.

Kendall Dougherty was a one-woman wrecking crew For St. Paul's Episcopal. as she had 18 digs and eight assists. Those eight assists gave Dougherty a new career-high.

Bryant's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 15-9. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bryant will square off against Saraland at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they will face off against UMS-Wright Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
