Futures waltzed into their matchup  on Thursday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They came within a single  set of losing the streak, but they secured  a   3-2 W against the Forest Lake Christian Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Knights have posted  since September 30th.
 Futures wouldn't go down easily and took Forest Lake Christian into a fifth set  where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-15, 20-25,  15-9.
Futures' win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Nikka Vinokurov, who  had 46  digs and eight  aces. Vinokurov is  crushing it when it comes to  digs: she's   had at least 15 every time she's  taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Svetlana Blyshchyk, who  had 31  digs, 22  kills,  and one  block.
 They weren't the only good servers: Futures  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 21  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least seven  aces in 11 consecutive  matches.
Futures' win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Forest Lake Christian, their loss  ended  an  eight-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 19-9.
As of now, neither Futures nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
