Softball Recap: Berlin Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Weyauwega-Fremont, Berlin was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over the Omro Foxes. Considering the Indians' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Berlin's win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-11. As for Omro, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Coincidentally, Berlin and Omro will both be playing Markesan the next time they take the field. The Foxes will head out to face the Hornets at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
