Volleyball Recap: Fulshear Chargers vs. Cinco Ranch Cougars

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fulshear had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Cinco Ranch Cougars. The win was familiar territory for the Chargers who have now won 15 matches in a row.

Fulshear never let Cinco Ranch on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 26-24, 25-18.

Bailey Warren paced Fulshear's offense, picking up 14 kills. Warren got some help from Alexys James and her 32 assists. James was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Fulshear is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 38-6 record this season. As for Cinco Ranch, with the defeat, they broke their 19-game winning streak and moved their record to 35-6.
