Volleyball Recap: Ketcham Beats Pleasantville for Their Third Straight Win

Ketcham entered their tilt with Pleasantville on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Ketcham's got stronger as the match went on, holding Pleasantville to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-3.

Ketcham's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Carmichael led the charge by getting eight aces and three digs.

Carmichael wasn't the only good server: Ketcham was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 22 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 15 aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Ketcham's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Pleasantville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Ketcham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Brewster on the 15th. Pleasantville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
