Building on the Freshmen All-American Team published April 25, MaxPreps continues its look at standouts in the 2014 class with the "Freshmen 50."

Arsenal Tech (Indianapolis, Ind.) forward Trey Lyles earned Freshman of the Year honors after tallying 18 points and 12 rebounds per game en route to All-City honors, but it's far too early to label him a candidate for the title of top prospect. It's a fun discussion, but still premature to begin placing numbers next to their names.

For now, identifying the high school and travel circuit standouts from the class of 2014 is enough.
