Hunter Gaither put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Monday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out five batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

Gaither and Galatia/Thompsonville will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cobden at 4:30 p.m. on May 8. The Bearcats have been dominating at home and they will enter the match having won seven straight home games dating back to last season.
