Soccer Recap: Tishomingo County Takes a Loss

Tishomingo County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Shannon Red Raiders. The Braves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Raiders earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

Tishomingo County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Shannon, they moved to 1-14-1 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Tishomingo County will venture away from home to face off against Ripley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shannon, they will face off against Amory at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
