Foothill came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-0 W against the Mission Viejo Diablos. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Diablos last Saturday, they had to take a 12-6 defeat.

Lili Reid threw for 41 yards and one TD.

Foothill's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Mission Viejo, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foothill will welcome Pacifica at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The Mariners' defense has only allowed 12.9 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Mission Viejo, they will host Aliso Niguel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
