El Campo won the last time they faced Bay City and things went their way on Thursday too. The Ricebirds walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Blackcats. Winning may never get old, but the Ricebirds sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kamryn Mears was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. Mears was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adrienne Rodriguez, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Emma Labay was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.
