Softball Recap: Dunbar Tigers vs. Cypress Lake Panthers
Dunbar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 21-6 to the Cypress Lake Panthers. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.
Diana Cano-Mendez led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ziya Chambers, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
