The Leadership Academy Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Atkins Camels at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Leadership Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Leadership Academy's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Millennium as they made off with a 16-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won six in a row.

Hank Gaston was incredible, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Trent Bryant also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Leadership Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Atkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of Northeast Guilford.

Atkins' loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Leadership Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Leadership Academy might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Atkins when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
