Soccer Game Preview: Ralston Valley vs. Cherokee Trail

The Ralston Valley Mustangs will square off against the Cherokee Trail Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Ralston Valley sitting on 16 straight wins and Cherokee Trail on four.

Ralston Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Boulder get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's two games straight that Ralston Valley have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Buddy Pouchot, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, Cherokee Trail faced Legacy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Lightning. One seems to be a good number for Cherokee Trail as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Ralston Valley's win bumped their record up to 17-0-1. As for Cherokee Trail, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3-3.
