It was fun while it lasted, but R.J. Reynolds's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Tuesday. They lost 16-7 to the East Forsyth Eagles. The loss was the Demons' first of the season.

R.J. Reynolds got a good showing from Porter Lassiter, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Sean Lewis was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Gavin Searcy, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, R.J. Reynolds fell to 3-1. As for East Forsyth, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. R.J. Reynolds will face off against East Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Forsyth, they will take on West Stanly at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Forsyth's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so West Stanly's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
