Football Game Preview: Reagan Raiders vs. East Forsyth Eagles + How To Watch

Reagan is 2-8 against East Forsyth since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Raiders are taking a road trip to take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Reagan's defense has only allowed 13.1 points per game this season, so East Forsyth's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Reagan's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against West Forsyth on Friday. They were beaten by the Titans 35-0. Having soared to a lofty 51 points in the game before, the Raiders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, while East Forsyth put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for R.J. Reynolds. The Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Demons 59-0. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five games by 23 points or more so far this season.

Reagan better keep an eye on Cannen Rottweiler. He was instrumental in East Forsyth's win, rushing for 88 yards and four TDs on only eight carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Rottweiler a new career-high.

East Forsyth was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 272 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as R.J. Reynolds only rushed for 69.

The victory was the third in a row for East Forsyth, bringing their record up to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.3 points on average over those games. As for Reagan, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-2.

Reagan was dealt a bruising 69-21 loss at the hands of East Forsyth when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Thankfully for the Raiders, Bryce Baker (who threw for 213 yards and four touchdowns while completing 94.4% of his passes) won't be suiting up this time.
