Baseball Recap: Speedway Sparkplugs vs. Indianapolis Lutheran Saints
Speedway lost against Indianapolis Lutheran back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sparkplugs took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saints. The Sparkplugs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Logan Moore was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Cameren Biggs, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Speedway's loss dropped their record down to 6-15-1. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.
