There's no place like home for Knoxville Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-6 margin over Notre Dame on Monday. Knoxville Catholic might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Knoxville Catholic got a big performance out of Hadley Troutt, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs Troutt has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Drazkowski, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Knoxville Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

Knoxville Catholic pushed their record up to 11-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Notre Dame, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame (ranked 270th) will meet Boyd-Buchanan (ranked 70th) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
