Basketball Game Preview: Cardinal Stritch Cardinals vs. Waite Indians

Cardinal Stritch has gone 3-0 against Waite recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cardinal Stritch Cardinals will square off against the Waite Indians at 6:30 p.m. Waite took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Cardinal Stritch, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Cardinal Stritch challenged Vanlue on Tuesday. Cardinal Stritch took down Vanlue 45-30. The win was some much needed relief for the Cardinals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cardinal Stritch's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amaya Hill, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds. Hill has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more boards the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Miller, who posted 13 points.

Meanwhile, Waite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by Vanlue 60-32.

Waite's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Cardinal Stritch, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

Cardinal Stritch beat Waite 44-33 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cardinal Stritch since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
