Kern Valley won the last time they faced Rosamond and things went their way on Friday too. The Broncs blew past the Roadrunners 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Broncs, who have now won ten games by eight runs or more so far this season.
Sam Wyly spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Kern Valley got a massive performance out of Leenah Troller, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Jade Montes was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Kern Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rosamond only managed four hits.
Kern Valley pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Rosamond, they moved to 14-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
