Basketball Recap: Delaware Christian Comes Up Short

If Delaware Christian was feeling good fresh off their 52-28 takedown of Liberty Christian Academy last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Delaware Christian Eagles took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northside Christian Lions on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost six in a row.

Delaware Christian's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for Northside Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delaware Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Northmor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northside Christian, they will host Centennial at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
