Bishop Lynch is 9-1 against Nolan Catholic since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Bishop Lynch Friars will face off against the Nolan Catholic Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bishop Lynch easily dispatched Humble last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Bishop Lynch fell just short of Legacy by a score of 38-35 on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Friars came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Leopards are ranked 313th).

Meanwhile, Nolan Catholic unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 65-48 to St. Thomas Catholic.

Bishop Lynch's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Nolan Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 18-11.

Bishop Lynch was able to grind out a solid victory over Nolan Catholic when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 67-60. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bishop Lynch since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
