Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Eisenhower came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Westmoore Jaguars, falling 24-1. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Jaguars: they've now lost four in a row.

Eisenhower saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Santana Gordon, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 5-20-1. As for Westmoore, the win got them back to even at 14-14.

While Eisenhower had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
