Softball Recap: Farragut Takes a Loss

Farragut lost against Christian Academy of Knoxville back in April of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Admirals took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Admirals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elsa Morrison made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Alexa Shrader also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Farragut's defeat dropped their record down to 20-6-1. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Farragut will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Karns at 5:30 p.m. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they will venture away from home to face off against First Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
